I was born in Crozer Hospital in Chester Pennsylvania. Chester the oldest town in PA was settled by the Swedes in 1643 as the town of UPLAND by 1682 it was referred to as Chester but no one seems to know why. Strange that I was born in Chester as my roots in this area on my father’s side can be traced back in New Castle, Delaware to the early 1600’s via his maternal side and the Derrickson family. After spending a few short days receiving visitors in Chester, PA off I’ll be to Wilmington, Delaware and to start my new life with my parents.
